Oco, Barabà, Finolou and Boda are the Barabubbles. Anthropomorphic creatures born thanks to the fervent imagination of Isabella Mandelli.. These four characters have many things in common, but their character differs.. The Barabubbles, in fact, have four completely different characters, which refer to four behavioral styles of psychiatrist Carl Jung.

The behavioral classification according to Jung

Jung proposed a classification of people according to their mode of adaptation to reality, elaborating a system that allows to divide people into four personality types, for simplicity we could associate them to the four colors red, Blue, yellow and green or the Barabubbles. Jung has defined two pairs of functions that, crossed between. them, give life to four quadrants of a graph:

• Extroversion vs introversion: extroverts refer to the outside world, while introverts refer to the inside. The extrovert needs to act and interact to recharge the batteries, the introvert needs to disconnect and take time for himself.
• Thought vs feeling, that is how we decide: who is guided by thought first focuses on the goal and the most rational aspects, Feeling people put relationships first and can’t make decisions regardless of the impact they will have on people.. However, the categorization given is not clear. For both distinctions it is an inclination.

Barabà

Barabà is ambitious, energetic, determined, independent, result-oriented and competitive.

He has a lot of energy, he loves challenges, he does not let adversity discourage him and he needs continuous stimuli. He is indeed restless, the change recharges him. He likes to take risks and undertake new activities. He feeds on projects, ideas, challenges and goals.

He always flaunts a lot of safety even when he doesn’t have a lot.

Oco

He is an incurable optimist and his desire is to convince everyone that it is the right philosophy of life.

He wants to share every odd invention of his creativity, because he dreams that his enthusiasm and exuberance will be shared. Overflowing with dynamism and originality: in things he throws himself headlong and likes to be in company.
He conveys his enthusiasm to those around him, and is a source of inspiration! No one can avoid having a nice chat with him. It feeds on surprises, friends, relationships and everything new.

It recharges in company… and the more we are the better we stay!

Boda

He is quiet, calm, thoughtful, reserved, accommodating and an excellent mediator.

He always tries to respect the “right” distance with his interlocutor in order to be welcoming, but never intrusive or detached. He takes care not to offend his interlocutor, always thinking about how to behave to ensure that no one feels excluded or undervalued. He is an excellent listener, he is fascinated to perceive the world from the point of view of his interlocutor. She moves with delicacy and agility in human relationships always showing warmth and attention.

He is not a superhero, but he has a human super-power: the social antennae, thanks to which he can immediately grasp the waltz of relations between people, and his “super-hearing” makes him feel all the meanings of your silences!

It feeds on authentic relationships, sharing and teamwork.

If you betray his trust, the situation will be irremediable and he will just watch you from the peephole of the door, without opening you.

Finolou

It’s judicious, accurate, accurate, reliable, detail-oriented and methodical. He likes to do things well, he’s a perfectionist and he’s not easily satisfied. He prefers to do one thing at a time and do it well.

“Risky choices are always wrong”: this is his motto! He does not like to make decisions quickly, he prefers to think and weigh carefully the pros and cons. He likes to plan and organize time, he tries to plan even the unexpected in order to have the plan B, C, D,… .Z.

In his relationships he is very reserved and selective, prefers few relations but quality. To trust he needs time.

Rationality, logic and method are his allies in facing challenges; instead, try not to get too involved emotionally.

It feeds on data, detail, planning and precision.
